I am currently restoring a 1978 Ford F-150, which I bought specifically to learn more about auto mechanics. It’s bright orange and wonderful. So far I’ve mostly learned that fixing things is more fun than working or school. In my free time, I try to keep a 1995 Nissan Atlima running, with mixed success.
yesterday NAPA tried to sell me a starter motor “negative cable.” they said it should be 18″ long.
starter motor actually grounds through the mounting bolts.
i did get a free hat, though. so all in all a pretty good birthday.
